Make sure to complete Part 1 first
Let’s add an entrance and a birds perch for bird to sit on. We will use remaining reference points from our first sketch.
After we extruded profile the sketch was hidden by onshape to keep page cleaner. We still need references on that sketch, so let’s turn it back on

Let’s then create new Sketch! Click on “Sketch” button and select “Face of Extrude 1” clicking anywhere on closer face.

On flying cube click on “Front” to see the model and sketch from the front and get our reference points be in right location on newly created sketch.

We are ready to make entrance into house by using “Solid / Remove” tool, but actually there is no room to enter - the house is solid inside. We can see it by changing view mode into translucent:

We need to make the box hollow inside, let’s use Shell / Hollow tool. Make sure “Hollow” is selected and then select “Part 1” as “Parts to hollow”. You can now see that the body become empty inside.

We can leave “Translucent” mode on and cut some entrance for birds to get in. Click on “Extrude”, make sure to select “Solid / Remove” and select the big circle from “Sketch 1”. This will remove circle into room inside our hollow birdhouse body.

After we removed the entrance our Sketch 1 was hidden. We need to bring it back by clicking eye icon next to sketch

Let’s extrude the bird perch by using “Extrude / Solid / Add” tool and selecting small circle from Sketch 1. Now we can turn back “Shaded with edges” view mode and enjoy our freshly built birdhouse!
